Modern Santa Fe show home staged in a monochrome palette with pink decor accents.

Abierto Way | 2019

I staged this showhome built by Boss Builders just before it was featured in the 2019 Haciendas - A Parade of Homes. The home won the ‘Most Bang for the Buck’ prize and it’s easy to see why. With its modern, semi-industrial feel, dark grey wood tile floors, matte black fixtures, and grey stone finishes — plus amazing views — this home feels like it should cost well over a million-dollars but falls in the $900,000 range.

To stage such a contemporary home, I chose furniture that blended with the dramatic monochromatic look, like a soft grey sofa, black and silver dining chairs, and clean white bedding. For decor, I went with metallic accents, grey vases, and black and white artwork. Using a bold pink, I added pops of color to each room, creating continuity and interest that flowed through the home.
