VACANT STAGING
Cumbre Vista | 2019
This living room with its curved walls and abundance of windows is a great example of how you can style a room that doesn’t have the usual four walls. The solution is using the rug as an anchor point, arranging an intimate seating area around the focal point of the fireplace. Buyers are often stumped with how to arrange furniture in unconventionally shaped rooms — another way staging helps connect them to a home. The master bedroom originally had a wood screen treatment in its octagonal window. By removing the covering, light pours into the room and also complements the bedding. Taking into account the darker stone tile floors, I chose a coordinating color palette of whites, creams, and blues. The large soaking tub and dramatic view from the master bath needed just a simple touch of a fluffy rug and basket of clean white towels.
