VACANT STAGING

Map

Many homes in Santa Fe feature smaller rooms, especially in older homes. A modern buyer can feel stumped when trying to figure out how to arrange the rooms to allow for flow and keep them from feeling cramped. When I stage homes like this one, I apply proven staging techniques that open up a room. This not only helps the home appeal to buyers, it also shows them what they can do within the different spaces. Small-room solutions I used here include not placing all furniture against the wall, selecting a glass bistro table for the gathering room, and creating open walkways that lead into adjacent rooms. Before I even began staging, however, I advised the clients on steps that would be needed in order to maximize their asking price. Projects like painting the interior, updating cabinets, and replacing the worn flooring in the baths truly refreshed the home.
